Welcome to Uralla

Located along the New England Highway, Uralla is mid-way between Sydney and Brisbane making this a true destination stop for travellers.

The Main Street precinct is a thriving mix of foodie delights and boutique retail experiences, guaranteed to provide a unique opportunity to rest up and stretch your legs after a weary journey.

Uralla has truly embraced the history and heritage of the New England region, turning our early grazier, agricultural and gold rush roots into irreplaceable assets our community are proud to call home.

Uralla has an unmistakable mix of people and culture, providing an amazing atmosphere which must be experienced to be understood.

But Uralla is more than just a thriving CBD, our creative and artisan community extends throughout our region, with many boutique farmgate businesses producing some of the Australia’s best quality produce, which is not just nationally recognised but also respected across the globe!

Who we are

About Business Uralla

Business Uralla is the link between Business and Community, a link which is inseparable where one cannot exist without the other.

Community strength and resilience is underpinned by the strength and stability of its businesses, and businesses in turn reinvest in their community through sponsorship of sporting teams and community events who attract more visitors into our community and continue the cycle of economic growth.

Business Uralla advocates for businesses at local, regional, State and national levels through our alliance with Business NSW and their regional networks. We are grouped with many strong regional voices including Tamworth, Gunnedah, Liverpool Plains, Narrabri, Glen Innes, Moree, Armidale, and Inverell, which feeds into state and national policy making around improving business conditions for all businesses. This is the importance of the Business Chamber network, our strength in effective advocacy comes from the amplification of grassroots businesses.
